Join Us for Monthly Belly Dance Classes in St. Louis!

Fourth Sunday Flow is a belly dance class in St. Louis (and sometimes online**) taught by a different dancer each month.

These afternoon workshops are for any dancer who wants to:

✨Hang out with dance friends

✨Drill skills

✨Build community

✨Learn new techniques

✨Explore different dance styles

✨Try out new instructors

✨Leave the house on a weekend (you know you should)

✨Have some fun! (also very good for you!)

Training in different genres is the best way to add texture to your dance and help you develop your unique style.

Please note, this is a "hands-on" class, which may include physical corrections which would improve alignment and muscle awareness. Verbal instruction only available if preferred.

About Your Instructor

Lois Marshall, professionally known as Salwa of St. Louis, has over 47 years of experience as a dancer, instructor, performer and choreographer. She strives to elevate, educate and inspire others in the beautiful art of Belly Dance. As an instructor and performer, she perfects her craft through continual studies. She is Level 4 Certified in the Salimpour Institute of Dance, and currently working on her Level 5 Certification. Dance has and continues to be a life-long passion for Salwa.

This beyond basics workshop takes the dancer on a journey to explore archetypes of famous monsters and deities from varying cultures. A brief story of each figure will be introduced then a dance combination will be taught that embodies each mythical, mystical legend. So whether you’d like to portray some fierceness and wrath of Medusa, the steadiness and focus of Artemis, or just create a badass choreography using some of the combos taught, here this is the workshop for you.

About Your Instructor

Ami Amoré is a St. Louis area fusion dancer who has been dancing since 1999, performing since 2002, teaching since 2006, and producing shows since 2009. Besides being a soloist, Ami is the founder and director of Lunar Fusion in St. Louis and a proud member of The Stygian Collective since 2020.

Ami continues to teach classes and workshops in the St. Louis area and has taught at festivals around the nation, including 3rd Coast in Texas, Waking Persephone in Rhode Island and Seattle, and at Fusion Evolution (Tribal Revolution) in Chicago. Her classes and workshops are filled with sass, humor, and encouragement for the dancer to use critical thinking skills and put their own creative stamp on their dance.

When she is not dancing, she loves making jewelry, hiking, and hanging out in cemeteries.

Daewen is the founder of the Stygian Collective and the pioneer of Metal Fusion dance—a dark, powerful blend of heavy music and fusion belly dance. Drawing inspiration from heavy music, strong emotions, strength, mythology, horror, fantasy, magic, and her mentors, she’s carved a niche in the fusion world as both a performer and instructor. Since 2020, Daewen has built a thriving international dance community, producing online festivals, leading workshops, and offering a comprehensive Stygian Certification Program for dancers of all levels. With a background in psychology, coaching, and rune divination, she combines technical expertise, emotional depth, magickal flair, and a passion for personal growth to support dancers both on and off the stage. Known as “Mama Stygian,” Daewen balances her dark, powerful performances with warmth, humor, and a deep commitment to community.
