Daewen / Mama Stygian
Founder & Director | Teaching Team
In the chaos of 2020, Daewen founded the Stygian Collective with the hopes of connecting and inspiring dancers in a collaborative and supportive space online. Next, we're taking over the world.
Daewen is also the main instructor at Stygian Dance. She has been teaching since 2014. Well versed in fusion styles with hundreds of hours of instruction with the best, Daewen is here to level up your technique, musicality, emotive dance, and powerful movement! Daewen also holds a B.S. in Psychology, using her extensive study in behavioral change and motivation to offer guidance and support in achieving both dance and lifestyle goals.
Her classes always aim to create a safe space to explore, experiment, and evolve into the authentic dancer each student desires to become
Cerridwen
Operations Manager | Teaching Team
Cerridwen is a Kansas City-based fusion performer and instructor, and the founder of Banduri Dance and Raqs Obscura, both multicultural fusion and improv troupes who perform across the Midwest.
Cerridwen has been assisting Stygian Dance since 2022 as Daewen's minion for tech stuff, communications, and more! She is thrilled to be Stygian and loves watching this universe of badasses grow and delight the dance world with our dark fusion excellence.
Cerridwen has been teaching since 2012 and is a FCBD Certified Partner Studio, a Fly Fusion Foundations (L1) Certified Instructor, a Stygian Emerge Certified Dancer, and a Boho Blade Warrior (L3). Cerridwen’s primary teaching focus is fundamentals, mobility and conditioning, and the psychology of dance, as she believes each topic has a wealth of learning available to all levels.
Sherise Sixx / GothikDoll
Community Manager | Teaching Team
Sherise, also known as GothikDoll or our Fairy Gothmother, has been a proud member of the Stygian Collective since 2020. An unapologetic metalhead, devoted animal lover, and natural rule-breaker, she brings a fierce individuality to everything she does. Grounded by a strong sense of community, Sherise is the kind of presence that supports, inspires, and shakes things up all at once.

Sara Hinojosa / Sara the Shewolf
Marketing Manager | Teaching Team
Sara is a multidisciplinary creative and marketing strategist serving as Marketing Manager for the Stygian Collective. With a BBA in Marketing and roots in art, embodiment, and community leadership, she weaves intuitive insight with strategic clarity to craft aligned, soul-driven brand narratives. She is the owner of Flint Fusion, LLC and Howl & Heal Sanctuary, LLC, and founder of the Fusion Artist Studio Collective, mentoring artists across movement and digital realms. Her work is grounded in integrity, shadow integration, and empowering creatives to claim their voice, visibility, and sovereignty—boldly and sustainably.
Ami Amoré
Mentor | Live Events Manager | Teaching Team
Ami Amore is a St. Louis area fusion dancer who has been dancing since 1999, performing since 2002, teaching since 2006, and producing shows since 2009.
Besides being a soloist, Ami founded Lunar Fusion, dances with Daewen and is a proud member of The Stygian Collective since 2020.
Ami is semi-retired, but continues to teach workshops in the St. Louis area and online. In her heyday, she taught at festivals around the nation, including 3rd Coast, Waking Persephone, and Fusion Evolution. Her workshops are filled with sass, humor, and encouragement for the dancer to use critical thinking skills and put their own creative stamp on their dance.
Sitri Sophia
Teaching Team
Sitri Sophia is a Fusion and Gogo Dancer from the Twin Cities in Minnesota. They aim to invite audiences to peer into unseen worlds through out-of-the ordinary experiences. They hope to inspire others to have the courage to be more wholly themselves. Sitri also has the pleasure of being a Fusion Bellydance and Zumba® instructor through Dragon’s Lair Performing Arts.
Izzy
Teaching Team
Izzy is an AmCab, raqs sharqi and metal fusion bellydancer from Edmonton, Canada, and is a former member of Les Nuits d’Émeraudes in Quebec City. She is a regular dancer at Greek restaurants in Edmonton, where she enjoys interacting with the audience and making sure everyone gets a chance to get up and dance.
Izzy is also a teacher outside of dance, and her main focus is always on the student, making sure everyone feels comfortable and is able to follow, or gets a little extra challenge if they’re ready for it!
Entropy
Teaching Team
Entropy is an adventurer from Sweden with a restless mind. She started dancing in 2007 and with endless curiosity she has explored Fusion Bellydance, Dark Fusion, FCBD-Style, Oriental and Burlesque. In 2015 she started teaching as she loves to share the love for dance and wishes for everybody to get a chance to experience it.
She has received an award for her educational efforts in dance and was a cast member of the Bal Anat 50th anniversary European tour.
Nyx Namor
Teaching Team
Nyx began fusion dance in 2014 with Daewen and is a founding member of the Stygian Sisters and Stygian Collective. Nyx's dance style has settled into a blend of contemporary gothic movements that is still influenced from her days of getting lost in the music on the Industrial Night dance floor. Inspiring Nyx's teaching is her belief that you cannot have light without dark or happiness without anger or grief.
Nyx is fortunate to have taken classes from numerous renowned dancers, including Ariellah, Rachel Brice, Ashley Lopez, Kamrah, Kami Liddle, April Rose, Kimberly Larkspur, and Zoe Jakes.
