What is the Stygian Collective?
The Stygian Collective is an exclusive worldwide community of unique dancers who push the boundaries of dance. Created by our director Daewen, the goal of the Stygian Collective is to foster community, spark inspiration, and provide instruction and opportunities to all the dark, metal, or otherwise "weirdo" fusion dancers of the world.
Who Can Join?
Anyone is welcome! All levels of dancers are welcome! Whether you have no previous belly dance experience or you’re an advanced dancer, you have a place with us. Daewen's online studio offers many instructional materials for all levels, plus instruction in our specific style. Our tight-knit and supportive community has many ways to collaborate, share, and grow--including choreography projects, live online classes, performance opportunities, discussion groups, meet-ups, and so much more!
If you have a passion for dance and being your unique self, you will fit right in. By sharing and learning together through Daewen's Online Studio, the Collective creates a cohesive, troupe-like experience for like-minded dancers-- whoever and wherever they may be!
