Datura Style is a dance style and technique approach developed by Rachel Brice that is heavily influenced by FatChanceBellyDance, along with other styles of dance. In this workshop, Bonnie will guide you through a series of timed steps and arrhythmic moves from Datura Style vocabulary that focus on big, slow, gooey movements that can be incorporated into choreography or group improvisation. Each move will be broken down and drilled, and then strung together into an improvisational flow drill.

Here’s what you’ll learn:

🔥Datura Style Vocabulary, including movements like the Twisting Mardi, Weird Water Snake, Jewel Scale, Cab Maya, Sidewinder, Side undulation, Queen of the Damned, and more!

🔥Combining these movements into an improv drill

Levels: This workshop is ideal for upper beginner/intermediate level dancers who want to go beyond the basics and learn some unusual stylizations.

Online Option: Recording Option Available

Are you ready to Escalate Your GODDESS MODE?!

Kasper is taking inspiration from the various goddesses of mind influence & control. Pick your poison in this workshop and come join Kasper for an original fusion dance choreography to "Escalate" by Tsar B. This dark and percussive song lends itself to syncopated movements with a moody cleverness. It is loaded with basic belly dance technique which makes this choreography suitable for beginners, while also challenging intermediate-advanced dancers with its rhythms and stylistic musicality. Treat yourself to a fun confidence-building breakdown of one of Kasper's most popular choreographies, and prepare to alter the minds of your audience as you perform this piece!

Goddess mode > ACTIVATED.

Here’s what you’ll learn:

🔥Basic technique with some intermediate-level layering

🔥Some syncopated rhythms & counting

🔥Options for increasing or decreasing complexity of the dance as well as transforming into a group choreo vs. solo

🔥The bulk/"meat" of one full choreography on a silver platter for your use in performance as well as teaching purposes

🔥All served in a confidence boosting environment!

Levels: Beginner to intermediate, though advanced students are absolutely welcome and encouraged to embellish as desired!

Online Option: None - In Person Only
