Tap into your warrior spirit and take up the sword! In this technique workshop, Shyama will walk through signature sword frame/holds, balance points, and creative movements using the sword. Students will learn combinations involving the sword and fusion dance movements for a well-rounded drill or piece of a choreography. Shyama will also share some tips and tricks for making your sword dance truly wowing! A document of notes will also be provided to all registrants.

Previous belly dance experience required, but you can be a beginner to sword! You will need your own sword of course (any style made for belly dancing is fine).

You may purchase this workshop to attend live or receive the live recording after the class is complete. All registrants will receive the full video and the document of notes!

Stay tuned for more sword workshops, possibly even a full choreography!
